Dr_Vincent_PerriDr. Vincent L. Perri was born in New York City in 1953. A Doctor of Chiropractic, he is also a Doctor of Philosophy and has a certification in clinical psychotherapy.

He received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University in 1981, and subsequently pursued studies at the C.G. Jung Foundation for Analytical Psychology in New York where he studied as part of a mentor-directed Ph.D. program. Dr. Perri completed studies in the underlying basis of neural networks in relation to unconscious processes at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine Cape Cod Institute and was certified in clinical psychotherapy by the Institute of Psychotherapy and Behavioral Medicine.

He has recently been granted full diplomate status in Behavioral Medicine by the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling and Psychotherapy. His doctoral thesis, “Language of the Archetype,” has been published in hard cover. Dr. Perri’s studies in movement, speech and development became the underpinning of his work in the use of conjugate eye movements, patient assisted movements, and the use of language to activate specific neural reflexes as therapeutic interventions in somatic and somato-emotional disorders.

Out of the body of this work, Dr. Perri developed and published his text the “Conjugate Gaze Adjustive Technique.” This was followed with his work in visceral manipulations employing specific contact points to reflexively activate and balance the myenteric, postganglionic and vagal-autonomic reflexes that often lead to dysfunctional organ metabolism and motility.

The “Conjugate Gaze Visceral Release Technique” serves as a clinical extension of the basic conjugate gaze work, and allows practitioners to extend their therapeutic touch to the organic functions of the abdomen and related structures. Dr. Perri has published 16 professional papers, books, instructional programs and lectures professionally. His text, “Language of the Archetype” was authorized for post-graduate continuing education. He is also the author of two novels.
